Christmas has come and gone.
Now this morning I am back at my workout schedule.
We did nothing all day yesterday bu****ched some movies and Lee played on his laptop I got him.
For xmas DH gave me a casserole dish and bread pan LMAO I havent baked bread in years and I dont do casseroles because they usally have rice or noodles in them.
Reguardless of that he ment well and it is some cookware I really like.
I can make a meatloaf with the bread pan and maybe find a low carb idea for the other .
He did give me a wonderful indoor foutain that I love listening too.
As for my Rosie she is holding her own and seems to be somewhat better not coughing as much and is eatting and drinking.
I am keeping her comfortable through the day with giving her benedryl every four hours.

Good News Miss Annie - you're not the only one getting back in the saddle. My Mom gave me a membership to the local fitness center. I went yesterday and had a ball. For the first time ever I didn't feel so self-conscious walking into a gym. I went and found the little gym rat and got him to show me the proper way to use a few of the machines that I wasn't familiar with. I have decided that the person who invented the elliptical machine must also design S&M novelties as that ^((*&$ kicked me in the arse. (To the point I was waddling when David came to pick me up last night for our date).

Enjoy the Christmas presents - I'm sure you can find some really good recipes on the recipe forum or on egg faces blog. Have fun,

- Iris

Iris,
What a wonderful gift your mom gave you.
I agree about the elliptical you really get a good workout with that one.
The next thing you need is a MP3 player and you can upload all your favorite music on it.
I know I could not do any of what I do without my music.

I've got the MP3 player. I absolutely love that little invention. Only problem is I get a hold of a really good song and I either want to sing along or break into a little dance thingy. (I was gifted with neither a singing voice or the gift of rhythm - so I look sorta like the chick on Seinfeld when I dance). I get a kick out of it and I know I entertain those around me.

That is one of the main reasons why I love working out in my home gym.
I sing my heart out and do little dances on the treadmill.

Annie,

Congrats on getting back on the wagon.  I am also refocusing and getting back to basics.  Its amazing how slider foods work there way back into your diet without you realizing it.  I was feeling incredibly hungry all the time and realized my choices were not the best.  Sooooo, long story short, went back to basics, am eating right, and I have noticed I am hungrier less often and feel fuller much quicker.  Also bumping up the exercise routine in preparation for my final push to get these last 80 lbs off.  Oh btw, check out Eggfaces blog, she has tons of weight loss friendly casserole recipes that I am sure you can make use of with your new cookware.  Well, I'm off to the gym.  Have a great Sunday...
