Life is GOOD

No - LIFE IS GREAT!!! The WOW moments are just rolling in - visible collar bones, even more energy, high heel boots, size 18's, Dating & much much more. Last year at the holidays I was just looking into surgery and when my Mom wore a red suede jacket to church - I jokingly asked her to put it in the closet and save it for me. Well - I wore that jacket to church yesterday and I must admit that while it looked really good on me - the feeling was wonderful. It was a simple accomplishment that made me realize just how successful my surgery has been.

I also feel the need to update on the dating situation - it's going along rather nicely. We talk every night and the opportunity occured last night for me to tell him about my surgery. He's stunned - in a very good way. He's asked to see my before pictures and that scares me a little but I'm not that person anymore and I'm no longer hiding behind annything. So when we go out again (tomorrow night) I'm planning on taking along a couple of my hideous before pics. He was very, very, very complimentary on how I looked on our first date. I told him I had no clue what the end results might look like but he says he would like to stick around and find out.

Any advice from the daters out there would be appreciated....

I also had the chance to talk to a friend of my Uncle's who's looking into surgery last night. I told him that I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat - that's how glad I am that I did it.

Girl You betta go!!!  I am sooo happy for you. If he's meant for you then he will be there and it will mean that much more to you and him to enjoy the end result together. Keep pushing forward. I am doing good still down around 30lbs.  I have to start working out more. But I still think I'm doing good considering it's been right at 2 months. Shoot it would have taken a year for me to lose 30 lbs without the lap band. My goal is a size 16 really don't care what the weight is( ok a little) but I am in a 20/22 now so I am on my way. My coworker told me I will probably pass my goal. If I got to a 12 I may have a heart attack. Haven't been a 12 since I was 12 lol. Keep Us posted and God Bless.

Girl, you'll be surprised.... my goal was to get into a 14 and I'm in an 8 now...  it's amazing!
