Raging hormones!!!

This is VERY common. It's really something that they need to add to their list of things that they warn you about when talking to you about changes to expect post op.

Our excess body fat stored up the hormones that give us our periods. As we burn the fat the hormones are releasewd and if we have been 'dormant' for a while and thought we had finished the change things get activated again for many of us. Surprise! So yes this is very normal.
