side pain?? need help
Assuming she was done laparascopically, the largest incision, where the scope went in is on the left side near her ribs. That incision, due to size and the amount of movement the scope does, takes the longest to heal. Some can feel pain for 6 weeks or better. It is worth calling the doctor for, but I'm betting that's what it is.

Ellen is right on the money. Sometimes as everything else subsides, it seems like this becomes more apparent. Ask your sister to call her Dr just to check on it, but I wouldn't worry.

I am 5 days out and I can certainly attest to this large incision site!! OMG! Whenever I get up from a chair, roll out of bed, or bend over slightly to do things like wash my hands in the bathroom I can feel that spot pull. Sometimes it's so sore I walk around with a hand over that spot, as if that's going to help, yeah, right.
