minutes from surgery!!

My IV is in.  I'm sedated.  Dr. Chapman's been in to see me.  I'm ready!!!  Let's GO!!!
I'm in a holding room by the OR.  They let my husband come back here.  I checked in a little after 10:00 am.  Now it's almost 2:00 pm and I'm still waiting.  The wireless connection here is fabulous!!

LOL that struck me as funny! How are you sedated and typing? :)
I know what ya mean though!

By the time you read this, I'll bet you'll either be in recovery or moved up to your room and it might be a day or two before you are back in the internet saddle. I hope that all went well with your surgery and that you will experience a smooth and gentle recovery.

Hello Everyone, Meredith's husband here. The Operating room nurse came in around 2:00 pm and took Meredith back to the O/R. Then the pager goes off at 3:00 PM and the nurse at the surgery desk informed me the Doctor just started the operation. Then 10 minutes to 4:00 the nurse paged me again and said the Doctor wanted to see me. Dr Chapman said Meredith did wonderfully and was very proud of all the weight she lossed before her operation. Presently she is resting comfortably and hopefully will be in a room soon. Meredith made me promise to e mail you all. Thanks so much for all your wonderfull support. Paul
