Ben's been walkin and is delighted to start sippin.

He's off the pain pump and moved on to oral meds. While he's sore and uncomfortable, he said that the pain is much more manageable than he thought is might be.

Those who know Ben may know that the man is part camel and drinks like you wouldn't believe. He thinks that 64 ounce drinks are the only way to go. Well now, he's working HARD to get down about 8 ounces an hour. He said he never thought that sipping a few ounces would be so challenging.

I'll update again later.

Well, he's probably home by now, which is great!

I remember those one ounce cups.  It was shocking how full I got off of a few sips - like I wouldn't be able to drink anything for days!  Of course, in 15 minutes, I was ready for another sip.

Glad to hear Ben's doing so well - I hope he enjoys the journey!
