Ben's Surgery ... Slight delay

Just a quick note to let you know that Ben's surgery was delayed a couple of hours. I just ran into his surgeon, Dr. Portineir, while he was stopping for a cup of coffee. When he finishes with his break, Ben will be the next one up. I'll post again after he comes out of surgery.

I just got home last night from my trip to Portland.  Best of luck to both you and Ben today!  I'll definitely be praying that it's an uneventful surgery and recovery for him.

All is well. He's out of recovery and in his room. Now he's just recuperating and resting... in between visits from the Respiratory Therapist, Nurse, etc... The surgeon was pleased the small size of his liver and the outcome of the surgery. He's been somewhat uncomfortable with the excess gas, but as we know this to shall pass ... literally and figuratively.

I hope that you and Ryan had a wonderful trip. How are you feeling? The baby must be taking Karate lessons by now ... LOL.

 Glad to hear all went well with Ben's surgery.

We did have a wonderful time.  Ryan's still there...he comes home on Saturday.  I didn't want to leave, but it's always nice once you're home again too.  I'm feeling great.  Baby movement is still limited, but I do feel a flutter here and there.  I had an ultrasound right before I left - all looks great.  Baby is doing well and was weighing a whole 8 ounces!

Wow!!! I can't wait to see new 'baby' pictures!
