Ben is out of surgery and in recovery

Ben's surgeon just came out to talk with me and said that Ben came through the surgery very well. His liver had shrunk well which allowed the surgery to go smoothly. The leak test done after surgery looked great, so no leaks were detected. Ben is in recovery now and will be moved to a room within the next 1.5 to 2 hours. When he has a room I'll let you know what the number is. He'll be getting up to go for a walk in a couple of hours and will be started on liquids tomorrow.Thanks to everyone for all of the well wishes and prayers.Love, Barb and Ben

Barb,

I am glad that Ben came through surgery with no problems! I love your phrase and I am going to use it here. I hope he has a gentle recovery.
