How about a "WOAHHH" moment!!!
Sooo yesterday I went to Greenville for my 9month post op appt. Everything is just where it should be :) Dr. Pender was pleased!! So I go to the mall for a few minutes and walk into the Gap, just browsing and I asked her what is their biggest size jeans, she says " a size 16" in store and up to a 24 online!! Shocked they carried plus size! BUt I go to a pair of jeans, grab a 16, just to see how much longer I have till I can fit my big butt into that unthinkable size!! Mind you, I have been wearing 20's but NEED 18's, cuz 20's are way too big, but I haven't broken down to buy 18, because it seems almost pointless, when I have 4 or 5 pairs of 20's that I need to get my moneys worth from!! ANYWAYS, I go into the dressing room, try on the 16's ~ PULL THEM UP, Ummmmm button them up and flip up the zipper...HOLY STINKIN CRAP, THEY FIT!!!!! They fit GREAT too!!! Made my legs look so tiny and no rolls were to be seen...LOL I swear I looked at the size tag, 5 times and just stood in that mirror with the BIGGEST **** eating grin ever...LOL
I have not worn Gap clothes for at least 13 years...well I did not walk out with the jeans, because they were $50, BUT I walked out with amazing confidence and complete and utter shock!!! I also walked out with (2) XL shirts that were on clearance..LOL and FIT!!!! And they just look so little! But what is so amazing is, I have come from a size 30 pants and size 30/32 4X shirts in just 9 short months!!! And now fitting into 16 pants and 14/16 shirts!!! I cannot even comprehend the fact that I am now small enough to walk into a trendy NORMAL store and shop on the racks!!! Talk about a CRAZY ride!!! WOAHHHH!!!
Just had to share :)

Congratulations!!!! I think that next to entering Onderland and attaining a 'normal' BMI, being a normal size and being able to wear clothes off the rack from any store I could afford was probably one of the best things!!! Enjoy your XL shirts for a few more weeks because soon they won't fit anymore.
Thanks so much for sharing... I was able to remember the feeling through your eyes... It was wonderful 'watching you' enjoy it too.

Way to go woman! I too am now able to wear the size 16 jeans I picked up at Costco a few weeks ago. For the last couple of days I have been able to get them on and button and zip them up and actually they feel comfortable enough to wear around and sit down in. But I still have the muffin top in them. But who cares! They fit They fit!
