disappointment

So Monday I was supposed to go to meet the surgeon and if approved I would get a surgery date. My dad is a truck driver and he is my support person. At Hickory surgery your support person has to go with you for the education appointment and the first doctor's appointment with the surgeon. This is required for this program. They recommend that the support person come to the pre op but its not required.

Well my dad had to go to Texas this week and then up north, and to Alabama. When he got to Alabama they did not have anything coming this way. Sooo its a no go on the appointment Monday. So I called to reschedule but I haven't heard anything yet.

Tamara,  I'm so disappointed for you about this, hon.  I wish I could be your support person since my schedule is so flexible.  Let us know what you find out.  Hang in there...you are worth all the effort in the world to make this happen for yourself! 

In the grand scheme of things this is just a little hiccup. Don't get discouraged - it's all going to happen and soon. Hang in there.

Don't lose faith - maybe Lisa will call Monday with a perfect date.
