intresting day

This morning a man who distributes pumps for people with lymphedema came to my house at 10 this morning.
He put the garment on my right leg and turned it on for 30 minutes.
he measured my leg before the treatment and after.
My leg after the treatment went down 2 cm on my thigh and 1cm on my lower leg.
I know a cetermeter is not much but it shows the pump will help me.
For now I am in the process of getting insurance approval for the pump.
I do feel very good about this and dreaming about maybe one day I could wear shorts oh my new territory for me.
I also will see the ps on Tuesday and as I told lee when I have my arms done I know I will feel total freedom.
Just think I could go sleevless and wear sundresses ect..

I'm so glad to hear that the pump is going to be able to help you, Annie.  When do you think you will have insurance approval and be able to begin regular use of one?  Anxiously waiting to hear how Tuesday goes for you!

I am hoping the insurance will approve the pump before the new year.
We only have a very small window of time here.
The guy from Flexitouch sounds very positive and feels we have a good chance to prove our case to bcbs.
As for Tuesday I am excited but trying not to stress out and staying focased as much as possible.I know in my heart what the prize is and I will keep aiming for that.

Congratulations on yopur surgery.
Yes I would be happy to go shopping with you there is one thing I really love to do since my surgery is to shop.
I am able to walk and walk and it is such a great feeling to be able to do this now.
