I just wanted to see if anyone on here has had their surgery at DUKE and whom was your surgeon?   thank you

Hi Joy,

I had my surgery at Duke 18 months ago. My husband Ben will have his there next week. I had Dr. Eric DeMaria and Ben will have Dr. Dana Portenier. I honestly would absolutely trust any of their surgeons. There are some differences re: bedside manner, but all are exceptionally competent. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hi, I am having surgery in Jan.  I have Dr. DeMaria and I really like him.  He is very particular and I completely trust him.
