Has anyone here had Dr. Enochs?
Hello everyone. I've been lurking for some time as I have been going through all the insurance hoops to have the RNY. My package was finally submitted on Monday and I am waiting to hear back on my approval.
In the meantime, I have my final results visit with Dr. Enochs tomorrow. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had gone with Dr. Enochs and if you had - what can I expect at the Final Results visit?
Thanks!
Pam

I had Dr. Enochs and I don't even remember much about the final results visit except that I had been approved and we discussed the surgery and any questions I had. He is an excellent surgeon and I feel he is the main reason I did so well and healed so quickly. The surgeon always makes such a difference.
Good luck with approval and with your surgery.

Hi Pam!
I'm one of Dr. Enochs' patients - my surgery is scheduled for Monday morning (YAY!)
My results visit was 11/20, and we basically discussed all of the tests that I had done during the whole work up and approval process. He also told me about how he was going to do things, and how my gall bladder removal was going to fit into the whole process. He answered all of the questions I had, did his best to reassure me that it wasn't going to be as bad as I thought it was, and explained the entire process of how things were going to go in the hospital. It was a great help for me, and put my mind at ease.
Good luck, and hope you get your date soon! I'll answer any questions you may have in the meantime.

Kellie! How exciting that you are having your surgery on Monday! i'm so jealous!
I don't know about you - but I am LOVING Dr. Enochs. His voice, his demeanor, etc... - like butter - so soft and gentle. I will stop now - but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
I had my gall bladder out a couple of years ago - so he may have to deal with some scar tissue on that, but he doesn't anticipate too much trouble with it.
Can't wait to see how you are doing later this week!
