Update on our daughter

Our daughter is back home.  She has 20/80 vision in that eye and it should improve slowly.  She is wearing a contact bandage that has to be changed daily.  She will go to an eye doctor close to her home until she is cleared.  The pain is still severe.  She can't use the drops very often and they are the only thing that relieve the pain.  The percocet wasn't working for her, so the doc wrote an RX for vicodan.  Her DH is getting it filled now, he is going to try to get it in liquid form (the big pills are hard for her to swollow).

Carolyn - I know this has just made you more anxious to be in Oregon.  Thankfully things will improve and the pain will get better.  I am glad she is home and has competent eye doctors to take care of her.

So glad to hear it's probably not permanent! But I just can't imagine the pain from that!! Makes my eye hurt just to think about it! You let her know that prayers are being said for her in Charlotte NC!!!

I am so glad that she should be getting her eyesight back. That was a scary thing. She will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers

Oh poor thing! I hope and pray things get better for her fast!!! Im glad she is changing to a med that will help Percocets dont do anything but make me dizzy and sick. I hope she gets well soon
