OT: Yet another thing to do on Dec. 6th
Join me for the Julmarknad (pronounced yule-mark-nod), which is a Scandinavian Christmas Festival!
Will be held at the State Fair Grounds, at the Holshouser Building (it's the strange little round one). Open from 10-6. Will have food (including low carb Swedish Meatballs -- hand-made!), a bake table (how bout for gifts?), children's activities, a Lucia procession (which is gorgeous -- if you can only come for one thing, come for this and it's at 2:30), vendor tables with authentic crafts and goods from Scandinavia, an information booth run by the Swedish Consulate of Raleigh, traditional folk dancing, and more!
I'll be working all day at the Silent Auction table -- stop by and say hi!
Admission is $6 for adults, and free for those under 13.

Ohhh - that sounds like such fun... I will be working though - there are so many things I miss out on because of work.. Isn't there a better way?? LOL
I am gong to miss out on a local Winter Arts Festival, my grandson's Cub Scout troop is going skating, and there is a pottery show - just because I am scheduled to work. And I am not the type to call in to do what I want to do.
Have a great time.
