Vickie!  Congratulations and welcome home!

My surgeon had the drip set so high while I was in the hospital, I had to go pee every hour on the hour around the clock.  I remember being so exhausted and in enough pain that when I had to get up and down from the potty so often...woe is me!  lol  So I really feel for you about every 30 minutes.  Holy cow, I hope that is short lived.  And yes, stay on top of the pain meds however long you need them.

HEY!  I get to tell someone, "Welcome to the bench!"    That's my first time saying that!

Hi Vickie,
Congratulations on your surgery.
You will find out that the anti nausea meds will be your friend.
Take it easy and dont push yourself.
Welcome to the bench.

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
