Where is Shauna????
If I am included in the western NC girls, then here I am.... I have worked the last 4 days - and night shift kicks my butt... it is all I can do to get enough sleep and maintain the washer, the dryer, and some food to take. I have tried to read up, but am way behind....
I heard from Shauna yesterday and she is doing well. Getting around, sipping and enjoying life....

Hi Annie! Hubby told me that this message was posted...yes, he's become one of the lurkers. lol Thanks for thinking of me.
I went off of my pain medication on Thursday even though I was still having quite a bit of left-side pain. I just wasn't happy with how the medication was making me feel. This morning I woke to not nearly as much pain and was able to get out of bed without too much agony. You know how that is! I am still sooo tired and slept most of today away. Took a shower this evening and just that much activity sends the pain shooting back up to an uncomfortable level. I'm not complaining, just saying things aren't back to "normal" quite yet in the pain/energy departments!
Other than that, everything is GREAT. Hubby cooked a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner for us, the xmas tree is up, the family cleaned house today...everything is running like a well-oiled machine here...I am so proud of everyone. Now that I've got the puter in my lap, I'll do a bit of catching up! How are things with you, Annie?

Hi Shauna it took me about 6 weeks to regain my full energy.
Once you get it bach watch out world.
Things are going good here a friend of our came over tonight to help us get through a level on my Buffy game on the Xbox and Carlos did it LOL I knew he could do it and I made it worth his while.
I fixed my spinach pizza and Lee and Carlos loved it..

Your friend Carlos sounds like our 15yo. When we can't make it through a game level, we call her in to do it for us. She whips it out lickety-split and we're just left sitting there in awe. lol
I looove spinach pizza. Mmm yummy. Hubby made spinach/feta crustless mini-quiches last night and it was also delish.
I'm getting out for the first time today so I can't wait to see how my regular clothes are fitting now. Hope to join you with working out at 6 weeks post-op.
