ok so I set a crazy goal for myself to lose 100lbs between July 10th ( my surgery date) and Dec 5th ( the date I see my TKD instructor) and as of this morning I'm 3.4lbs from reaching that goal!!!! OMG!!!! I thought I messed up big time over Thanksgiving but I guess I didn't.... my first holiday after the surgery - I guess I was just stressing for nothing! WOOHOO - but now I have until this coming Friday to drop the 3.4lbs..... I think I can handle that! Even if I don't make it there - I'm VERY pleased with what I've been able to drop thus far!
Just HAD to share with you guys!
and btw - I'm posting new pics on here from this weekend in VA.
Always -

Wow Beth - amazing....

Now I have to ask what is TKD???  I think you will make it by Friday - I will be cheering you on...

I didn't do great with Thanksgiving at work.  Everyone brought in food and I sampled way too much... little of this, a little of that, then ooohh, that was so good a bit more... So rather than beating myself up I am thinking that this was my high calorie days to shake up my metabolism...  LOL  I generally don't get but around 800-1000 calories a day, but I probably went as high as 2000 on Thursday.  Now I must get back to exercise this week.  Not enough time to exercise when I work nights.  Sleep is my main goal.

Be sure to keep us updated...

Thanks for all of the support you guys! It means so much!!!
TKD is Tae Kwon-Do - a form of martial arts - kind of like Karate but BETTER! lol
I own a TKD school here in Jacksonville - I've been doing it for years!
The last time I saw my instructor was 6 days after my GB surgery and almost 100lbs ago so he's going to be so happy to see the changes in me!

Awesome job, Beth!  My goal is -100 in 6 months...I love seeing that it's not *that* crazy and that it *is* possible!  lol  You look so great.  Love it that you own a TKD school.  I'm going to dabble in some yoga, tai chi, etc. as soon as I'm able.  Perhaps one day I'll look into TKD?!  Enjoy surprising your instructor!
