I would really like to come, esp. since it'll be just a few days from my surgery, but that week is going to be crazy at work for me. I will try to make it if I can. I could really use some last words of wisdom from the group before I go under the knife on Friday the 12th.

That would be great. If there are any New Bern people out there who wanna share a ride, speak up. I have TWO performance programs at school to deal with in the coming 10 days, and my cat is at the emergency vet now, so there' no telling what will happen there. His kidneys are failing, his white cell count is up and he's showing signs of diabetes. The emergency vet said this is life-threatening and he may not respond to treatment. **sigh** My father just died 3 weeks ago, so this is a lot to deal with less than 2 weeks before my surgery.
