I am just woundering about honeybaked ham. Is it ok to eat as long as It does not have any of the sugar glaze on it? I have not dumped yet and I dont want to start. Thanks Jeff

Ham should be ok tho like you said, watch out for the glaze.  Try to shoot for a moist piece that will be more agreeable with the finnicky pouch.  I was able to eat ham at about 3 months out.

I have a new philosophy, I'm only going to dread one day at a time.  Charlie Brown

Yall can have the honey baked goodies.. I had to settle for hickory smoked ham and we are doing the turkey in a two day salt rub then washing it down and encasing it in gauze with butter and wine.. Yall enjoy all that honey.. I still have a half a gallon of wildflower in the kitchen and most of it is turned to candy..

Annie my wife found the turkey one on Martha Stewarts website. I sure hope this turkey does not turn out like drinking ocean water lol. I put a healthy amount of salt then sealed the turkey up in a plastic bag. Its supposed to go through some osmosis type thing in two days then be ready to bake.
