Oh, Ivory, how disappointing and stressful. I'm sure the partner is trying to accomodate everyone that is in your situation. How much earlier could the partner do the surgery, and could you 'make it on your own', until your Momma gets there? Do you like/trust the partner enough to do the follow up after someone elses surgery? Do you like/trust him enough to actually do the surgery and the follow up?
I pray everything works out for you. Hang in there and TRY to be patient and understanding. If God leads you to it, he will see you through it.
Thank you so much. I really do trust both of these doctors. Ive done a whole lot of research on them and there work. I actually work at the hospital they practice. This group has very outstanding ratings with patient care. I can manage without my mom if I had to. My co-workers will help out if need be. Its just so stressful because my live revolves around a schedule that goes out 6-8wks in advance. Unfortunately that's how most hospital work schedules are. Take care and have a Happy Holiday.

I'm sorry for your disappointment and I can only imagine your stress right now. Please know that while it may not happen as we wanted and planned, it will all be okay because he is here watching over you and taking care of you.
Remember, it will be okay...

But as for having the surgery, I hope things will work out close to the same time you were wanting. I would probably take the date that is offered and you know you will be in the hospital for 3 days, and then your mother could come to help along with your daughter.
Praying things work out...
