Yesterday at church we went around the sanctuary thanking the Lord for ...............     There were so many responses from adults and children from my home, my family, grace, salvation, my church family, freedom, etc.  Yesterday it put a lot of things in perspective for me; realizing I have way more than I need and that I am truely blessed!

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for salvation, my family, my friends, and the ability to make decisions without fear of persecution.

I'm thankful every day that I wake up.  It means I'm one day closer to getting approved for surgery and getting healthy. I'm thankful for my family's support.  I'm thankful that I found this site.  I'm thankful that I found supportive Doctors.  I'm thankful that I have all my senses, even pain.  It means I'm alive.  I'm thankful that I can still think clearly.  I'm thankful to have a home, I know what homelessness is.  I'm thankful that I do know what homelessness is like, because I appreciate home so much more.  I'm thankful that there are people who are willing to reach out to others, for whatever reason.  Those people make the world worth living in.

This year I am most thankful for:  Being given the opportunity to have a second chance at life where I can live in religious freedom, good health, and unconditional love.  I am so thankful for my RNY and for my family and friends, who have been the best support system a person could ever need or want.

I am thankful for my husband. He is my rock. I have been thru so much this past year that I would have gone crazy without him. I am thankful for my health, that I made it thru surgery with flying colors and am doing well. I am thankful for my job and that I have such a great boss.I am thankful that my parents are now together in heaven, no more suffering for them.

I am thankful for my sons, church, friends in person and on here, for the surgery that someday will make me healthly again, and freedom from worrying so much about money.

Great topic! I could go on for hours with this one! I will keep it short and sweet.

I am thankful for my husband. Without him I would be nothing. I can say and do anything with him. Because of his job I got my RNY and did not have to pay one penny I am thankful that him and his Marines who ask for nothing are defending our nation. They sit in the heat, work 7 days a week and miss all the holidays with their families. When Thanksgiving comes they wont be sitting at the family feast, instead they will be working on jet engines 10,000 miles away to keep the helicopters running. Thank you hubby and Marines for all you do!!! February cannot come fast enough!!!
