Hi Meredith,
It can really be hit and miss when you are thrift shopping. I'm the queen of thrift/consignment shopping and I'd suggest letting your fingers do the walking first. Google thrift and consignment stores based on your zipcode, then give them a call. Of course the higher sizes will be harder just because of percentages, but I did fairly well with 3, 2, 1X sizes at the stores that stock them and I found that quite a few do. You'll want to know if they separate out their plus sizes and sometimes you can tell the sizes you are looking for and give them your contact information and they'll give you a call when they get things in. You may do better in consignment stores than in thrifts, but try both... Happy shopping.

I LOVE thrift stores! They've kept me clothed throughout this process, for sure.

Try My Sisters Closet on 10th Street in Greenville. It's on the left if you are heading downtown from 264 (near Hastings Ford). It is in a shopping center right where 5th Street meets 10th street.
They have a plus size section, but I didn't really look at what they had. I found some great deals there.
the great thing about this place is all the proceeds go to Domestic Violence Victims.
Good luck! Alice
