I have just gotten back from the Doctor. I am not dehydrated, my pulse was 68. she said my ugi last week everything was fine, She wants to me to work on my fluids at this point more than the protein. She said I am only 3 weeks out and with taking my gall bladder out also that can make things harder since I have several things that have been routed. She said the nausea is still normal she wants me to start slow with my water she is thinking I might need to be out of work for a few more weeks until I can get my protein and water where it needs to be. We are going to talk later in the week about that. Thank you all for your concern.

Jeff,  Not dehydrated...great!  Pulse rate...excellent!  UGI...awesome!  Now what the heck?  I really hope working the fluids and protein more slowly does the trick.  You are doing awesome on the weight-loss track.

It sounds like a positive appointment Jeff.  Good luck on focusing on fluids, I hope slowing it down does the trick.  Back to the original adage of sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk!  :)

Hi Jeff,

I'm so glad to hear that you are doing better than you hoped. Keep sipping fluids and protien. I know that this early part of the journey can be arduous, but I also know that if I can do it, you can too. Eventually, this will all be an uncomfortable memory.

It is very normal for you to 'ramp up' to full fluid and protien quanities prescribed. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Wishing you continued success,

Glad to hear you are not deydrated. Last year when I had my first check up my surgeon said THE SAME THING as yours... he told me DONT WORRY about the protein the first couple of weeks. He said drinking water was MUCH more important and if I didnt keep trying to sip then I would be dehyrdated. I hiope you feel better soon and best of luck to you!!!

Good stuff!  Keep us updated, ok?  Remember, your job right now is to get in the fluid.  Sometimes it helps to use something as a reminder, ie.  take a sip for each commercial during a show, or every time a character says a certain word, etc.  A new and improved drinking game!

somebody told me on another thread they were trying to get you to shave your head. I agree its way too cold to get a chrome dome this time of year. Good to hear the results were in your favor. you are losing really fast.

Jason check your weight tracker. If you plan on reaching 131 pounds they are going to turn you upside down and use you for a broom your going to be so small. Your family will nickname you ghost. I had to look at it twice cause I know Im not going to make it down there.
