LUNCH MEET UP in HAVELOCK
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I have had several people interested in a local Havelock meet up!! My surgeon also recommended that I try to organize one, so that I am doing!! These are for ANYONE that would love to come meet people just like you, who knows what you are going through!! Whether you are pre-op, post-op or possibly thinking about it ~ PLEASE JOIN US!! I have been absolutely inspired by my Jacksonville ladies and if it weren't for them I would not be where I am today!! And they are totally welcome to join us too!!!
This one is going to be a lunch meet up
WHEN: October 29th
WHERE: The NEW Ham's Restaurant of Havelock (between the post office and Hampton Inn)
TIME 1:00 till approx. 2:30 so everyone can go pick up kids from school
If you have little ones, you may bring them along if you cannot find other arrangements, that is fine :)
SO if you are interested, I need you to either reply to this post to let me know you are coming, or to PM me, I need to reserve some tables!!!
ALSO I highly recommend attending the ONSLOW county meet up as well!!! GREAT LADIES THERE!!!! That meet up is November 4th...see Darcies post for more details!!

Would love to come to the meeting, but I can't. My daughter lives in Slocum and I'm usually there several times a month. But the reason I can't come is I have my Nut appointment on the 29 and my Cardiologist on the 4th. I think this is two good reasons. YEA!!!!!! Hope to meet you soon. I love your hat. Hey girl... I'm glad you're doing this, there are a lot of people out that way who can't come to our J'ville meetup. I was gonna drive out to meet with ya'll but I have to work that day, maybe next time for me! I hope you're doing well!!!

I guess it is going to be a small group!! I suppose it is a bad time of the day to meet up, but I definately will plan the next one to accomodate those that work days and go to school :) so bear with me!! I want to have the BEST meet up group in Craven and Carteret County and Im going to need yall to help me with it!!! LOL
KATHY I am glad you are coming!! I talked to a girl on the phone the other day, she got my number through one of my friends and we talked forever, but her and 2 or 3 other girls who all have had Dr. Pender are coming!! SO it will definately be interesting to share thier stories and you may learn alot!!! Can't wait to see you :) Oh and thanks for the compliments...LOL
I am SOOO not used to getting so many compliments, as i do now!! It is definately something to get used to!!!

I am so excited that "Penderers" are coming out of the woodwork..LOL When I started my journey, I didn't know of a single one!! NOT ONE, then I saw Lynn from Beaufort and she had him!! SO I didn't feel completely alone, NOW its like holy smoly!! Dr. Pender must be doing something right...LOL Cuz they're everywhere!! I am soooooo going to be keeping this local group going, I want it to be a GREAT big one!! DEFINATELY will keep up with the Jville girls!! They are the ones that were there for me from the very begining and I would never ever think of seperating myself from them..NO WAY, they can't get rid of me that easy!!

THe Jville meetup is on the 4th I believe at 7:00pm :)
So you should make it!! Again, not sure how many are coming, it may be really small, becasue of the timing, but hey, we can still chat our butts off...LOL
