stomach ulcers

My surgery may be postponed because of stomach ulcers. Did anyone have this problem????????????

I did not have any problems myself, but I did want you to kow that someone cares and is reading your post.  I would think that an ulcer would be pretty painful and that you would fair better if it was healed before your surgery. You did not say what type of WLS you were having but I hope you will listen to your doctor's advice and be patient.  It will be hard but you will be thankful in the long run!  Good luck and I hope that you will be back on track very soon.

I can't say mine was postponed becuase of ulcers, however I developed one last year and it has been very hard and painful! So I personally think it's a good thing to have it healed before having surgery. I know it's hard to take but it's probably better for you! Hang in there!
