Update on my dad

The power of prayer is awesome and i want to thank all of you for keeping my family in your prayers.   After a week of an emotional roller coaster ride, yesterday my dad was taken off the critical list and is now in stable condition.  He is talking but a little out of it which they call ICU psychosis (which they say is real common).  If he maintains at this rate, they will put him in a step down room in a few days, after that a regular room and then into a rehab room for 5 days.  In the rehab they actually have an apartment in the hospital and my mom will stay with him for 5 days to determine if they can be self sufficient or if he needs add'l rehab.  I have never heard anything like that but think it is awesome.

Thanks again to the OH family for keeping him in your prayers!

Love, Pam

Hi Pam,
This is great news about Eugene.
Sounds like they have a great set up at the hospital.
I am thinking about you and wish you were at the meetup yesterday.

That's really good to hear. I am happy your father is doing well and I know with a daughter like you in his life he does want to be around a lot longer. I will still send positive thoughts your Dad's way.

Thanks Ann...my mom asked him if he remembered that my brother and I were there.   He told her that he hopes I remembered my pants...lol...whatever that means!
