Realize Band

Does anyone out there have the Realize Band and if so can you tell me the difference between that one and the Lap Band? I know I want the Band over RNY but now I'm faced with which band. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Lap Band on 11/05/08

You may want to post this on the Lap-Band and Realize Band forums. There are some minor differences but. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Good luck!

RNY on 03/12/07

My sister had the Realize band placed about 2 months ago and is doing great with it, has lost 25 pounds already. She chose the Realize over the Lap band because the port is lower profile and the band itself is softer material. Everything else is pretty comparable.
