Stay off that scale!!!! So when November gets here you will get a BIG WOW.
I am staying off the scale myself and just listening to my body and judging how clothes are fitting.
In fact I may take a deep breath and buy SMALL sweats next time I am at Target.
My MEDIUMS are getting soo baggy.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Ann,
Congratulations on the suddenly shrinking you ... I know a number of folks that have hidden the scales and only weigh when they see their Dr. You should do whatever works best for you. I tortured and rewarded myself with my scales and get on them every morning to this day. I would say that eventually, getting on them on a daily basis is a good thing because we have spent plenty of years playing ostrich and hiding from our scales. Getting on them everyday reminds me that I need to be accountable to me. This was also true for me as I was losing, it helped me remember that I needed to do things that enabled and supported my quest to get healthy and rid myself of those deadly extra pounds. Now, I get on the scale on a daily basis to remind myself of where I am and where I want to be. Eventually, the numbers on the scale quits dropping and it's actually a little scary to see it bounce around within a couple of pounds, but then you become comfortable with knowing where you are 'supposed' to be. It's really comforting to know that I am maintaining my weight and that if I go beyond a certain threshold I set for myself ... 3 lbs. watch it, 5 lbs. lose it... then I can maintain my hard won losses and gains.
Do what works for you ... and what works for you now and what works for you later might even change.
