Quick Rant- nothing to bad....

I forgot a sweater to bring to work today (my office is frigid all the time) So I ran into walmart.

Ok, Plus size women ARE INTERESTED in casual wear clothing that doesn't have Disney characters, an overkill of floral print  or small furry animals on them!!!!!!!

Seriously, I found nothing- And now I am cold.

Can't wait for better shopping!!!!!

Girrrrrrl, you are singin my tune!  I love, LoVe, LOVE fashion...but it is RARE I come away with plus-size fashion I love.  Lane Bryant enabled me to have a pretty neat wardrobe this past summer, but of course nothing is what I would be wearing if I were normal size. 

I hit the jackpot at the support group meeting last night and came away with probably 8 or so beautiful sweaters from the sweetest lady at the clothing exchange.  I'm not sure how much use I will get out of them with my surgery coming up, but I will definitely pass them along again when I'm done with them.

Hope you don't freeze to pieces today.  Perhaps you should keep a lap blanket in your office?! 

are you near a Belk's? Not that cheap but they do carry larger sizes and they look a lot better...

Belk has fabulous clothes and yes they are all mostly designer and expensive but they have wonderful sales. I got a 259.00 Ralph Lauren Cashmere Sweater yesterday for 7.95, when it's on clearance it's on clearance and if you use your Belk card on certain days they give extra discounts. Right now it is end of season and they are practically giving stuff away. Last night was what they call Girls Night OUt at the South Park Mall store which is the best here in Charlotte and they had Martinis, Sushi a full caterer and an additional 20% off.
I got over 2500.00 dollars worth of clothes for about 400.00 last night, so now is the time to go to Belk, also when you see something you like just know if you can wait it out you can get it for about 75% off. I have waited for some things to do down and by the time I got them needed a smaller size LOL and the girls at Belk SOuth Park Lisa and MArian are the nicest sweetest ladies n the world. I am now down to an 18 and will miss them when I can no longer fit is Womens sizes..
