Favorite Restaurants?

Hi All,

I just got a fabulous new job and my husband and I want to go out to celebrate!  I'd like to go to a restaurant (any will do...doesn't have to be fancy), but I'm not sure where to go now that I have to eat differently.  Do you have any restaurants you like that have food we can eat?  I'd love some suggestions...

Almost all of them have soups that we can tolerate or grilled fish. I was at Applebee's last night with my aunt and we shared french onion soup and then I had the grilled talipia and she had the salmon. Both were very moist and worked wonderfully for me and my needs and her Weigh****chers needs.

Good Luck - regardless of where you go to celebrate.

I enjoy Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Logans. Red Lobster has lots of food I love, and of course the steak and a veggie or something like that work great for me as well. I am not sure how far out you are but there is usually something I can find at any restaurant to eat. You just have to look for non-fried, high protein foods. It is possible to find something. Cracker Barrel has a good pot roast which is very moist. Just thought of that.

In addition to the awesome suggestions above, I love Fatz Cafe's shrimp and grits.  It's a huge portion that can easily be reheated at home.

I have yet to find a resturant that I cannot eat at - its really a matter of looking at the menu prior, checking nutritional information if available and just simply asking for dishes in a manner you can eat them - most places are more than accomidating when it comes to special diet requirements.

Cheesecake factory is my favorite place personally :-) Or mexican places yummo!

Thanks everyone!  You're suggestions were a huge help.  We wound up going mexican and I ate 1/4 of an enchilada!  Yumm-o!  Thanks again for your help.
