6 Month WOW
Good Evening Everyone,
My 6 month WLS anniversary was yesterday... and so far I am super happy with my WLS results...
Highest Weight=462#
Surgery Weight April 11 = 433#
Current Weight = 314#
Weight Loss this Week = 5#
Total Weight Loss Since Surgery 6 Months Ago= 119#
Grand Total Weight Loss=148#
To think it took me 6 months to lose 29 pounds prior to surgery and in my 6 months since surgery, I have lost 4 times that amount, just boggles the mind. My only regret, as I am sure most of you have the same regret, is not having done this sooner. I must say, as much as I love all the new found energy and health benefits, I am having a little trouble seeing the new and ever changing me. What I see in the mirror is the old me and I really hope over time that this will change.
Oh yeah, my family and I went to the NC Zoo today. We were bummed we had to miss the trip last week and we had a blast. Walked 7.5 miles with no effort. I can remember just 5 years ago going to the very same zoo and having to ride the tram everywhere because I was just too tired to walk the trails. Pretty awesome WOW I'd say.
Dalton

Hi Dalton,
Congratulations on your exceptional achievements. I know that it takes a while for our heads to catch up with the changes that our bodies are experiencing, but keep taking photos and measurements. Eventually, it does begin to register.
Wishing you continued success my friend.
I look forward to seeing less of you soon,
Barb

Congratulations on your many wow's
One day you are going to be walking around and all of a sudden catch your new reflection.
At first you may not even know who that refection is.
As time goes on you are going to start enjoying what you are seeing and feeling.
