Wow... Five Years Ago

My daughter, Riley's fifth birthday was on Friday.  I'm on my way out the door to pick up the cake and head to Chuck E. Cheese for the party.  Since I fluffed my "do" and put on some warpaint, I decided to snap a couple new pics.   Who would have thought I'd ever have cheekbones?  Five years ago this week, I weighed almost 300lbs and was in an incredibly bad marriage.  He was very verbally, mentally and emotionally abusive.  Now I'm a size 12, have cheekbones, hipbones and all other kinds of bones that I thought I'd never see :-)  My daughter is happy, healthy and doing well in kindergarten.  I love my job ... started a new job 3 days after the ex-husband moved out.    My circle of friends has grown dramatically since getting out of that bad marriage.  Life is so wonderful.  I hope everyone feels as good about life and themselves as I do.  I posted new pics on my profile if anyone wants to take a look.  Have an awesome day!!!!   Christy

Wowie, Christy!  You are a knockout!!!  I can SO relate to how life has improved since I got out of my abusive marriage 13 years ago.  The blessings just keep comin' on, girl!  Your daughter looks like you "spit her out"!  Another beauty!
