Back from G'Vegas Im having my Gall Bladder out MONDAY

Good Luck.  I hope your in and out quickly.

I've had several surgeries including gallbladder removal.  I had to go alone because my dumb husband refused to take off work.  I survived.  I had RNY complication surgeries too.

You will be in my thoughts!!!

I got to see Dr. Mann this morning and he went over my report with me and yep the good ole Gall bladder is coming out.... This coming MONDAY!! Now I got that panic before surgery feeling again LOL He also gave me a big ole jug of Loratab LOL its doing a good ole job of keeping the pain away. I didnt think he would schedule me so fast but Im glad he did. He scheduled me at a Surgical outpatient center but (and you guys will love this) they dont like Tricare LOL they said *what if she needs to go to the hospital?* well DUH roll me across the street to Pitt you dumbasses! Sooooo Im having my surgery at The Pitt Palace and I get my time in thirty minutes. I spent the day at the pre op center doing registration and getting blood drawn. Thank god that the same lady was there from last year that did my blood... she understands my Baby Veins and once again gently and easily used the baby butterfly needle in my hand and got two tubes out but it made me really weak and she got me some juice and peanut butter and crackers and I felt instantly better. Just thought I would keep everyone updated and wish me luck please!!

I know just what a relief it will be to have that darn thing out!!!  Glad you are getting rid of it quickly also.  Keep us updated.

SOOO glad to hear you are going to get the gall bladder problem resolved.  The Dr must have known what a "pain" it has been for you, to have scheduled it so fast!  Keep us posted.

Darcie !  I thought about you yesterday but when I work nights, I get nothing done, but sleep and work !

Glad things are moving along smoothly and Mr GB will be history come Monday.

I'm sorry that it has to be done, but I'm glad that your Dr. is takng care of it right away. Any who's had 'em knows that gall stones are just no fun.

Thank you Barb, I am also glad he is taking care of it. I asked him if he had a scalpel and if he would just go ahead and take it out today LOL he turned red and started laughing. Im SOOO glad he is doing my surgery because I just love Dr. Mann
