update/thank u!
hello everyone! i am finally feeling alot better. i had my surgery 2 weeks ago (9/25) after i got out of the hospital i couldnt keep anything down so i went back to Dr Macdonald and he sent me over for ANOTHER barium test! yuck! lol they found that my bowels were paralized from the surgery and dialated. so they admitted me back into the hospital which really sucked. i also have some nerve damage in my thigh from laying around in the hospital so much.. which sucks cause i did walk the halls whenever i felt up to it. i have been sooo sick to my stomach the past 2 weeks and im sooo happy that its finally dieing down! my surgeon has made me feel like im some sort of weirdo monster for being so sick to my stomach. he made me feel like im the only person in the world that has ever felt the way that i have. grrrrr. whatever..lol im feeling better now and ive already lost 20 lbs which is cool!
The main point of this message though is i want to thank every single person that wrote me the sweetest messages and comments and had me in their prayers. You guys are all the best. It felt soo good to know that so many people actually cared about me and what was going on. I wish there was a way that i could give every single one of u a big hug!! :*) I love knowing that i have this great support system here! im finally on the losers bench with u all and im looking foward to the journey ahead! thank u everyone for everything!

Glad to hear things are getting better for you. It really ticks me off when doctors make people feel bad about them selves. If you were complaing that you hadn't lost as much weight as so-n-so your doctor would be the first to tell you that people are different and lose weight at different speeds yada yada yada. He should be trying to make you feel good about your WLS and the new road you'll be traveling down. I've read enough posts on the main board to know that feeling sick to your stomach for a while after surgery is normal for a lot of people. Anyhoo, I'm glad you're better. Keep up the good work and stay cheerful.
