Paperwork still on a desk somewhere...

"Donna in the referral office" has now been back from Vacation for 3 days and still has not sent my letter to insurance... (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

So she is going to fax a new one tomorrow and I am driving to Coats (middle of nowhere where my doctor is) to pick up my letter, my medical records and the additional paperwork from UNC.

THEN I am going to turn around and 90 minutes in the OPPOSITE direction to UNC and personally delivering my packet to Dr. Farrells office (cashiers check and all!!)

Hopefully since I am bringing a cashiers check, I will not have to wait for any check to clear, and I can make my appointment right then and there!!!

Taking a tip from "Shauna's Tip List" not trusting fax machines, and hand delivering my papers!

I think that is a wise idea... these people that have the paperwork and then hem and haw over sending it really makes me angry.  It is like they are playing with our decisions and makes me want to cry out *Not Fair*....

LOL, I should take that advice! I have been waiting a few days for my surgeons office to update my online check off list since I faced my blood work, mammogram, and pap last Thursday... Well today I  emailed the office and she wrote me back and said "Sorry, we haven't recieved any fax's!
Arrrgggg!

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about!  Hubby and I spent weeks of faxing, phoning, and refaxing (some papers more than 10 times over, I kid you not) so we really wish this is exactly what we had done right at the start.  Be sure to make copies of everything you drop off and take them with you when you go to your appointments.  If anyone ever misplaces anything, you have the copy right then and there!  The cashier's check is dead brill, woman.  You are really doing yourself a great justice!  Have a safe trip and let us know if you get to schedule an appointment!

While at UNC be sure to ask Karen Coltan about the group meeting on the 18th.
I got a letter about the time it will start at 5:30 and will be at the ACC building.
