It's been 2 very short months since surgery. I'll be taking my progress pictures and measurements later tonight and posting those on my profile. (Check on those tomorrow).

What's changed in this amount of time:
---- I'm down 45lbs since my final pre-op appointment. That in itself is miraculous.
---- My fasting blood sugar this morning was 89. bye - bye diabetes.
----My blood pressure was 116/65
----I can walk and walk and walk.

----If you read my yesterday's post you'll also know that I can walk and talk at the same time.
----I could care less if I eat or not. I eat protein because my watch says it's meal time.
----I feel wonderful.
----I have energy - so much so that it's probably going to get me in trouble.

--- I have had the chance to meet some of you great folks from here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there's more that I'm leaving out this morning but I just really want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the help and wisdom that comes from this board. Regardless of what leg of this journey you're on - you're an encouragement to many. There are truly a few things that you just can't comprehend until you've been through them - BUT - yall help prepare folks for them. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I will.

- Iris
