Update on Infection

Well I have MRSA (staph infection) in my neck according to the lung doctor. Was taken off the Leavquin and put on Septra so I hope it clears it up because I don't want it going to the open incision in my stomach. My ear has been hurting and was told it was coming from the place in my neck. Probably also going to have a cat scan on my neck to see what is going on inside, waiting on the nurse to call me about that. Please continue to keep me in your prayers, as far as the surgery goes I'm doing great but have other problems going on.

I'm sorry to hear that you are continuing to have issues and problems with your infection. I hope that the antibiotic takes care of the infection and allows you to start healing soon.

Cindy,  I hate that you got MRSA it is particularly nasty, but with the right antibiotics you will win this battle. Good luck  and keep us posted.
