Okay, since so many mentioned a Beach trip...... lets get some ideas in...

I go each spring to Myrtle Beach for a nice weekend.  I stay at a great resort with great rates.  They have 1br, 2br, 3br suites so people could bunk together and lower thier cost.  Pools both indoor and outdoor, lazy river pools too.  Nice kitchen with stove, full size frig, micro.  

I know I go down with my 4 kids and we usually stay in a 1br, which has 2dbl beds, a murphy bed and a pullout couch.... so enough room for 8. 

Anyway, would a weekend together be something anyone else would enjoy?  We could plan mini activities i.e.   a nice dinner out, Ripley's aquarium, shopping at Boardwalk at the Beach, outlets, ummmmm...... 

Any other ideas?  Suggestions? 

Once I have an idea of how many would be interested in the idea I can call around to the NICE hotels (including the one mentioned above) and see what kind of rates we could get.

Significant others could enjoy a round of golfing (if they like that kind of thing)

** I will be bringing my kids but will be able to do activities without kids (14yo who will be 15yo and she will watch the lil ones)

I almost forgot too .... they have the new Hard Rock Cafe Theme Park !!!.  

We could plan kid orientated activities to include the kids too.... (a party at Build a Bear? too for both the kids and the adults)

Just an FYI.  The New Hard Rock Cafe Theme Park is currently closed for Bankruptcy.  They are saying that they are just closed for the season on their website but they are currently doing the bankruptcy court thing.  They have had a terrible turnout since they have opened.  I live 25 miles from Myrtle Beach.  I am not sure when they plan to reopen.

Awww shucks..... well it was a tough year for many families to do travel and the cost of the tickets was high if your bringing the whole family.  Shame... I wanted to ride on that coaster.   Thanks for letting me know.

I may have misunderstood, but I guess I thought that they were planning a trip to the beach here in North Carolina to maybe meet up with us "beach bunnies" here on the NC coast

Okay then, I guess I will step back and let y'all do that. 

I was just thinking...... there is no reason why anyone who lives anywhere couldn't join in on the fun.

I love Myrtle Beach.  I have a good friend down there that I'd love to meet up with.

Myrtle Beach sounds good.  Even all the NC coast ladies can make that trip.. it's not like a huge long drive for anyone on the coast.

When you talking about going?  I have to work every 3rd weekend (and lately, I'm working more than that.....arrrrrgh!).  I missed the zoo trip because I had to work yesterday!

I figuired planning ahead like this it enables everyone a chance to attend.  The holidays will be over and people can budget ahead for a nice trip that includes people to do things with.  *smile*

Weekends in March and April are great with me.... (I don't work - I am a college student).  I would think April would be better because it will be warmer and much nicer for outdoor activities and yet the prices aren't in the tourist bracket yet.

Get Andrea to talk about her supplements and get EVERYONE on the right track supplement wise.......

Really make a fun time of it, a mincation and a learningcation and a meeting of great people who all have something in common.  Taking back our lives.
