Guess where the zoo pic is?
Thxs about the pic now when I look at it I have a reminder that yes I walked 4.5 miles and without a cane.
Lee did bring the cane just in case but I did not use it.
Lee bought a walking stick at the gift store and I used it a little but relized it was slowing me down more.
I havent used my cane in over a year.
Before the trip I was a little worried if I could do a long walk like that
I guess I had to prove to myself yes I can do it.
Some of my fears of when I was SMO still tend to linger in my head like stepping up and down off curbs.
Every time I come to a curb now I have to tell myself "you can do this".
I am hoping in the future that stepping on or off a curb will just be a natural thing and I wont think about it.
I also showed myself that my exercise has increased my endurance so I can do things like long walks.
BTW what is your name?
I would like to put a name on the post I send you.
Hope you have a nice day I am off to workout in my homw gym this morning and then have another treatment for my legs this morning.
