It took a ct-scan to show my gallstones.  The surgery was not bad.  Good luck and I hope that you get some relief soon.

As far as a quick and simple remedy for fast relief get a fleet enema.  As bad as I hate 'em they work.

I am just so angry that they didn't at least keep you overnight for observation given the pain you are in!!!  Gosh I hate them sometimes!!!  I wouldn't risk taking anything for your constipation with the pain you're in right now without knowing what is causing the pain.  You could be compounding the problem with an enema or a laxative.  Please don't take anything without consulting with your doc.  Have you notified your surgeon?  This is very distressing that you are not being treated and have to wait so long for a diagnosis... I can just imagine what it's like for you.
