Update on Me!

Well I went to the ER and waited for about 3 hours to go back and I went over my symptoms with the doctor and she said that it cant be my gallbladder because its not on my left side.  But like I told her previously that my pain is not localized it moves from left, middle, and right.  It doesnt sit in one spot for that long.  So they did blood work whi*****luded cbc,liver enzymes, and dehydration which i was bc of throwing up.  They also did a x-ray.  So everything came back normal.  Im so mad bc they didnt even give me pain meds.  Just sent me home bc they couldnt find out whats wrong.  Im in so much pain im in tears.  So im just going to ride it out I guess.  I do have a question though does the x-ray show your gallbladder or does the ct-scan show that.  I am still scheduled on thursday for a ct-scan so i am hoping I can wait till then.  Also i havent had a bowel movement since Thursday what can i take for that that i wont get sick off it.  Thanks again for everybodys advice.

Hey Amanda:

I used to eat baby food prunes to help me move the bowels.  Don't know if that would be wise for you with the other issues you have.  If you continue in such bad pain, I would call the surgeon's office again.   Doesn't make sense that you have that much pain from nothing.

p.s.  do you have any pain pills from your surgery that you could take?

I will call the on Monday and I did have some of that liquid stuff but I took it twice yesterday and just threw it up so it makes me nautious just to think of it now.

Good Ole Naval hospital, Im surprised they didnt give you Motrin again if you need anything call me... Im in a lot of pain myself waiting to see Doctor Mann this Friday. I had Ultrasound done when I told him at my one year check up that my right side was hurting..sure enough I have flippin Gallstones so I know whats next...call me if you need me.

I will call thanks Darcie.  I didnt go to Naval, I have been there several times and have had bad experiences so I go off of base to Onslow plus my pcm is off of base so.  Im sorry to hear that you have gallstones.  Does that mean surgery?  That sux.  If you need anything let me know.

Yep it means the Ole Gallbladder is coming out... I see Dr. Mann on Friday and Ill get the details then As far as Onslow they are just as bad... Ive been to both and they just dont give a crap!

I'm worried to pieces about you, Amanda.  What on earth to do???  I have no clue but oh how I wish I did!  It would be so great if you woke tomorrow past this all.  I am going to keep my fingers crossed for you.  {{{Hugs}}}
