Update on my wheezing problems today.
It's been such a long tiring day. I spend from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the ER and I was in pain from the surgery and the breathing problem. Let me tell you I don't know why it is every time you have to go to the ER it takes them an minimal of 5 hrs to get you out. After waiting over an hour just to get put into a room and was given a breathing treatment it took them forever to get a doctor in there, then he ordered chest x-rays and blood work and after the test were taken no one came in for hours to check on me. Well finally he comes back around 7:15pm saying they were still waiting on one more blood test but it could be an hour and he didn't thing it was going to tell much in the outcome and wasn't going to make me wait any longer. Bottom line is from the breathing tube they had down me and with me already having asthma, it flair up and he said I also had some bronchitis. He gave me a prescription for Levaquin and told me to stop the Amoxillan I was given yesterday. Well the infection in my neck is getting bigger around it, its about the size of a dime and it still has pus coming out of it but because it is so close to my neck and throat that for me not to be trying to get the pus out because it could go to my brain or something like that. So I guess the doctor will have to lance it again on Monday if no better.
So my son asks me why I always had to be sick and how could so many people come out of this surgery with no problems and I always have to have them. like I'm suppose to know that!
Tell me am I really going to start feeling better and getting on the same road as the rest of you? I'm not even for sure if I'm taking my protein right, the last two days has been a mess with having to go to doctors. I'm on the full liquid diet now.
How does the RYN patients take their pills? I take one at a time but I take so many that I'm not waiting very long in between taking them and I don't know if they aren't having time to get thru or what but its been hurting a little bit.
I just pray I'll get on a better road to recovery and can look forward to this new life.
Thanks for listening!
Cindy
Hey Cindy:
Under normal cir****tances the first few weeks after surgery can be rough. With the added complications, it is probably making your week.
As for your son, let me give him a swift kick in the arse for you. Kids can be such a pain, like this is what you want. He probably didn't mean anything by it but boys especially don't tend to think before they speak.
Hope you are on the road to recovery.
take care and God Bless,
Pam
