so happy tonight

I had a sleep test last fall in Germany, but records don't always end up in my medical record when they send you out on the economy (supposed to, but don't).  The bariatric program here said that I needed the records somehow or other or else I would have to do the test all over again (hmm, guess an almost 2,000 euro cpap machine isn't good enough proof!).  I was worried, and didn't like being sent from one place to another, but tonight I am happy to say that I found one really good medical records guy who searched quickly and perfectly for something that I only had a general time frame on when I had it done.  It may be a small thing, but I hated the sleep test so much that it is huge to me that I don't have to do it all over again LOL

Now that I have the sleep test records, I am quite excited because I can see by my checklist that I will have have more than half of it done by the end of this month, yahoo!

I did not enjoy my sleep test much either. How do they think anyone can sleep in a strange bed with all that wiring attached and have to not move for quite awhile. I have no idea how they were able to get any results from mine. My daughter experienced the same thing and had to go back a second time even. I think those things are counter productive sort of. Its a shame they can't just do the test at your home in your own bed where you might really sleep.
