Anniversary Day!

This time three months ago I was getting out of surgery.  It's been a terribly long road with tons of complications, but today for the first time I felt stronger walking around my office.  I also haven't had any nausea this morning (MAJOR YEA!) so maybe my body knows it's time to move on, get better and start reaping the benefits of this surgery!

I also found that the first thing that absolutley sits well in my pouch and I look forward to eating--Wendy's chili!  Can you believe it?  I usually pick out just the beans and eat those with the broth, and it's so good!

I feel good today!  First time in three months, and I just wanted to share and thank you all for the support and kindness you've offered so far.

Congrats!  I think it is awesome that your surgiversary is also a really good feeling day for you.  I just know it will keep getting better and better for you as each month goes by.

Hi Jenn,

I'm just delighted to hear that you are feeling so much better. I really think that the hardest part of this journey is generally in the first 3 months. It gets much easier now as you continue.

Enjoy!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
