Met the Man (OT but followup)

OK so a few days ago I posted that I might start dating again. Well I'm not dating again (yet) but I did get to meet the fella that my Aunt wanted to set me up with. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's so incredibly sweet. Very quiet & shy. Loves animals (has dogs & horses). Actually, I went to church with him tonight. I don't have a clue where this may lead but I feel that I at the very least made a very good friend tonight.

Iris, this sounds very promising. A man who goes to church..... hmmm Great start!! Sounds like he may be a keeper. I hope that the right man will find you and make you very happy.

Not only does he go to church but he's a Moma's boy, has a job and doesn't drink or do drugs. If you only knew my past relationships -you knew this is a very big deal. (he he he he he he) I've always had a fatal attraction to the bad boys.

Iris - you and me both - if I am in a room full of men, I will find the bad boy and stick to him like glue! LOL That is why there have been 3 marriages and 3 divorces... and numerous other relationships.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

WooiHoo! I hope things work out for you. It sounds like you've met a really great guy and I'm so happy for you.
Just curious but where's Powells Point or what's it close to? I know your surgeon was in Greenville so I'm assuming it's somewhere in the general vacinity. I grew up in Beaufort Co. and lived in Pitt/Green County for several years.

You neber know where you will find that right guy. But you have to get to know him so take it slow. He does sound like a good guy though. Hope you get a chance to find out if he is good with you.
