Sometimes we just have to back off

The on going drama of my mother is exhusting.
I am trying to do the best I can for her by scheduling her care providers,getting special seats and creams for pressure sores which she denies having and looking into getting another lift that will take her from a seated position to standing.
Soo I am taking a break from her today.
I think in the future I will get to say to her I TOLD YOU SO.
Sometime we just have to let lessons in life be our teacher.

Only you can tell what's best for your health and your Mom's - taking a day off sounds like a really good idea. Can't wait to finally meet you this weekend.

You and your Mom are still in my thoughts and prayers!  It is a trying time I know because my Mom and I took care of my Grandmother for 3 years and she only weighed about 90 lbs soaking wet. Anyway, I agree that you need time to yourself and I"m glad to see your taking it.  Take care and just know you're doing whats best for both of you.
