Leg treatment went well
I enjoyed meeting the lymph therapist today I liked her right away.
She is into holistic health and... has a bird that was just beutiful.
She feels I have at least 20lbs of fluid on each leg and is optimisic that she can get it off with massage and compression stockings.
I had to order some custom compression stocking at the medical store today because my legs are still very large.
My legs felt great after she worked on them and she says I am doing all the right things as far as exersise goes.
I came home and did 45 on my bike and 45 on the treadmill.
I have also been in training for the zoo this week.
I think Lee is as excited about going as I am.
He told me last night he wants to leave in plenty of time to get there LOL

BTW going to the zoo is a personal goal of mine

Hi Annie,
I'm glad to hear that your appointment went so well and I look forward to hearing that you are receiving a significant amount of relief from the sessions with your lymphadema therapist.
I am sure that you will really enjoy your excursion to the zoo.
All the best,
Barb

I realize I am only a new face and most likely this may seem a bit odd but I caught another post you had put up earlier and curiosity got the best of me to just have a look at your chart. If they ever give out awards for doing the unbelievable you should get one. I can only imagine the personal work you have done over the past thirteen months in order to achieve your current success. I am about five weeks out of post op and just having some passing thoughts as to the accomplishments you have personally handled should make headlines somewhere. The fact that you took the time so share a simple post with the world as well as some of your progress should be an inspiration to anyone dealing with this deadly problem. I wish you the best in getting the fluid back to normal and hopefully it wont be long till you and Lee can get to the zoo the way you had it planned out. Again just thanks for providing the information that made me realize that this plan has got some light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you for a very grasious post about my personal journey.
You do relize that my highest weight was 680lbs in 1998.
From that point I choose life over death.
It has been a long journey and one that has not come to an end.
I still have about 100lbs to go but I feel confident I will make it.
I have a desire to share my story with others in hopes of letting others no with dedicattion and a will to live they too can help themselves.
I am living life in a way I could never have imagined.
I feel wonderful and am thankful for each new day.
I wish you the best on your journey.
Thank you again for you very kind words.

I hope I remember to bring my camera and plenty of extra bateries. I love taking pictures of animals and people. The zoo is going to be a totally fun day. I am glad you first therapy for your legs went so well and that you hit it off with your therapist. That always makes it better.
