There are problems once again with my mother.
I am doing all I can to help the situation.
I am so thankful I am able to walk now it is such a help to get my mind clear and focased.
This morning I walked the dogs but had to cut it short because I saw my nieghbor walking up the road with her dogs.
So I had to turn around and take my dogs home.
I was able to get in 30 minutes.
BTW I will have my first lymphadema treatment today.
I am hopeful that with the treatments I may one day have normal looking legs.

Annie - I am so sorry that your mom is having problems again.  It does sound like you'll be better able to deal with them now that you have multiple stress relievers at your disposal.  I am also really glad to hear that you're going to start your treatments for lymphodema.  Hang in there and keep us posted - I know you're up to it and will meet this challenge as you always do!

If I remember correctly I think you are trying to keep your mom at home as long as possible.

Have you looked into the CAP program. (Community Alternative Program). It is a program in North Carolina that is a alternative to nursing home. They usually can stay in the home for a longer period than a personal care assistant. They can stay in the home 6-7 hours/day.
