Hello,

I bought the sample bag of protein drinks from Bariatric Eating and posted some pic's of the items inside it. If anyone has tried any of these products please tell me what you thought about them. I haven't tried anything yet. Also a couple new pic's of me. Only 3 more days!

The Dessert protien shake mix is great stuff plus I love that name LOL
I am lactose intolorant since surgery so when I use the shake mix I use Lactaid 1% milk.
If I were you I would wait on doing the cereal.
I did not do cereal until I was almost a year out.

Thanks Annie for the input. I'm also lactose intolerant and have been drinking the lactaid skim milk for a couple of years now.

Sorry I can't comment on any of the protein drinks since I mainly just used Carnation Instant Breakfast with Unjury unflavored protein powder during that stage of my journey.  But I do want to say that I think you are a beautiful lady and you have a great looking group of sons and friends!  Good luck on your upcoming surgery and be sure to post how you are doing as soon as you feel up to it.  Good thoughts and many prayers being sent your way!!!

I lived on the banana cream shake mix. I got to the point that I coulnd't stand the regular mix flavors - everything was just too sweet (Oh the irony) but the banana was fabulous. Prepare For your tastes to change. I never ever ever thought I'd turn down anything chocolate but now I could care less - I want anything and everything lemon flavored.

Thanks Iris, I can't believe I want like chocolate anymore lol. I've got 3 big cans of assorted chocolate protein powders.Its funny you say the banana shake because I've never liked anything that had a banana flavor expect banana popsicles and bananas, guess I'll be finding out soon.
